You can use Google trends to measure how well your site is doing in the search engine rankings. You can also find out how popular a keyword is among internet users, how it’s trending over time and how many searches have been conducted on that particular term.

– Search Terms: enter keywords or phrases into the box at google trends to see how they’re performing.
– Past weeks: tap the “past week” tab and select from the dropdown menu of weekly intervals (seven days, one month) then click the button next to the arrow icon labeled “show more data.” A similar setup applies for past years as well but only displays fewer data.
– Momentum: compare how a phrase is performing against its past performance. It’s useful for determining which phrases are trending up or down over time
– Compare two terms: use “compare this search term with” tool to see how one keyword compares to another in relation to the number of searches, including how they rank on Google and around the web.
You can also drag either side so that it becomes longer than the other and then press enter; you’ll now be able to switch back and forth between them by clicking each hyperlinked word
